What keeps you motivated for your workouts?
I like that we mix it up, different exercises each time, and working out with different trainers keeps it interesting. What keeps me motivated is having the set time in my schedule that I prioritize over other activities and for all the great women I workout with!
How do you feel since you've joined Fit Club?
I am a long time member, 7 years and going strong. I have lost about 10 pounds, firmed up and am much stronger with better balance. The interval training made a huge difference in my stamina and running ability, especially on hills. Setting a goal to hit 300 calories EVERY time I work out keeps me focused.
What tip would you give our new ladies?
You are stronger than you think you are. Don't be afraid to try a higher weight - you may be surprised at what you can do.
Tell us a fun fact we may not know about you?
I used my improved balance and stamina to go gorilla and chimpanzee trekking with my daughter in Uganda last summer - an amazing adventure.
