What exercises do you enjoy the most (for yourself)?
My very favorite exercise is a plank. It is one of the most effective body weight exercises for strengthening the core. I create my workouts around different plank variations that make my training more effective.
Where did you grow up and how did you end up in Marin County?
I was born and raised in Poland in a small town called Krasnik. I have always known that I wanted to live in California. I remember watching movies that showed San Francisco and being amazed by the scenery, weather and the beauty of this place. We finally came to visit Sonoma county about 10 years ago and decided to make it our home.
What made you decide to become a personal trainer?
My whole life I was very much into fitness and nutrition. I have always enjoyed playing sports and working out. I also knew that I wanted a job that would bring me joy and happiness so I decided to get my fitness certification and become a personal trainer.
What do you like most about working at Fit Club For Women?
Fit Club For Women is not just a gym and a work place for me. It's a community where women support and care for each other. All my clients are like my family.
What would we be surprised to know about you?
You may be surprised to know that at age 14 I started my wrestling and kickboxing journey. It was a great coed program that I participated in for 4 years.
What do you like to do when you are outside of the studio?
When I'm outside of the studio I like to work out, dance and shop.
What fitness certifications have you acquired?
When I was in Chicago, I was certified at the National Personal Training Studio. CPR and AED certified.
